Established January 2015
After starting my business from my home, I transitioned to renting a room in a hair salon, and eventually grew my business enough to rent my own larger space. It was a huge leap of faith to purchase my own building in November 2021. Covid and the uncertainty of the world economy impacted all businesses, small or large, but I knew I could continue to learn and grow while offering services to Fort St. John that typically require travel, like laser hair removal.
My first laser was the Alex-trivantage laser tattoo removal machine, and after specializing in tattoo removal, I quickly decided to also offer laser hair removal. I purchased the Lightsheer Duet diode laser and over the past 10 years, I have loved witnessing my clients' results with little to no discomfort. This technology is the only machine available that features a unique vacuum assist handpiece, which means no messy gels, reduced discomfort, faster treatments, and safe, effective results. I have always been committed to providing the best option in laser hair removal in Fort St. John, so in October 2024, I invested in the newest model and technology with the upgraded Lightsheer Desire. It retains the same unique vacuum handpiece but offers more energy and newer settings, making it a dream to operate.
In May 2018, I sold my laser tattoo removal machine (as we no longer offer this service) and decided to add the Ideal Protein weight loss program to the clinic. I have always been passionate about helping others with their health and nutrition, and as a previous client myself, it felt like a perfect match.
We continue to expand our services within the clinic, including options like waxing, and are always open to collaboration ideas that will benefit our community.
I feel fortunate to love what I do and to have amazing clients who choose my clinic for their laser hair removal and weight loss services.
Expertise
I hold full certification in Laser Hair Removal, including specialized training as a Laser Safety Officer, Advanced Skin Care, Medical Laser Tattoo & Pigmentation Removal, and Sanitization certification since January 2015. In June 2018, I completed my certification as a weight loss coach, and I continue to enjoy learning how food acts as medicine while assisting clients on their weight loss journey. In March 2023, we introduced TriLipo body contouring, skin tightening, and cellulite reduction services, which have provided excellent results for clients seeking a safe and effective alternative to surgery. Our newest addition, Celluma red/blue light therapy, has proven effective for treating wrinkles, acne, pain, and even hair restoration, making it an exciting complement to our laser hair removal services in Saint John. We also offer waxing services to meet all your hair removal needs.

My name is April, and I was born and raised in Victoria, BC. I have a very typical story where I moved to Fort St. John short term and ended up meeting my now husband, Chad. We have been happily married for 25 years and have a 18-year-old son. I am proud to call this town my home for over 28 years.
In 2014, I experienced a life-changing event that led me to return to school and pursue my passion for lasers, technology, and helping people. By January 2015, I became a certified laser technician, specializing in laser hair removal in Fort St. John, and opened my business from home.
Now, over 10 years later, I own my own clinic where I focus on laser hair removal, weight loss coaching, and more, continuing to be passionate about lasers and their benefits.
Before going back to school, I spent over 14 years at the Credit Union, where I created many fond memories and personal connections.
As a small business owner, I've learned to manage everything from office tasks to technology while balancing family life and clients. I wouldn't change it for anything, as I truly love what I do, especially in providing effective hair removal solutions and weight loss guidance!
